About me…

Don’t let my many years of experience fool you. I am a recent college grad. For the last two years I was a non-traditional student at St. John Fisher College in Rochester NY. That means that I left school many years ago and I finally came to my senses in 2005 and decided to get an education.

I got that and more. While attending Monroe Community College in a Business Administration program I had the honor of attending one of Tom Proietti’s communication classes. At that point I was hooked and I knew I had found my calling. I finished my program earning an Associates Degree and transferred to the college suggested by Tom. At Fisher, I met an entire department of Toms and that made me all the happier about my decision to come to Fisher.

Making things even better, Fisher has a Chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America and through PRSSA I have found that there are many others out there that suffer with my affliction, the PR bug.

I have since attended National Conferences in Detroit and Philadelphia and served as my Chapter’s representative at National Assembly in San Diego helping to choose the National Committee members that are guiding the course of the organization.

Now I have moved beyond college and I am returning to the working world. My new experiences, along with the ones I brought with me from the dozen or so years I worked in retail, should  make the next step an exciting one.
